In January, real estate executives Derrick Buckspan and Rachel Reed opened RE/MAX SHORELINE on Middle Street in Portland. The agency hosts 40 agents between its Maine and Portsmouth, New Hampshire, locations.

Ross and Christine Endicott, owners of CONDO FURNITURE BY ENDICOTT HOME in Scarborough, received the Business Award from Portland-based nonprofit Prevent Harm for their early leadership eliminating toxic flame-retardant chemicals from their company’s supply chain.

ProSales magazine and Koma Building Products have named Erin Plummer, marketing and communications director/VP for HANCOCK LUMBER, as one of their Four Under 40. The award celebrates the best of the next generation of leaders in building material supply and highlights employees under age 40 who demonstrate potential to lead the industry in years to come.

Longtime employee James Stewart recently completed the purchase of THE KENNEBEC COMPANY from founder Dave Leonard. Established in 1974 by Leonard and Jeff Peavey, the company designs, crafts, and installs furniture-quality cabinetry at its shop in Bath.
