This winter, MAINE COTTAGE is launching a capsule collection of brightly colored leather furniture. A preview of the collection includes a glimpse at a purple armchair that would make a surprising and rich addition to any room. The company, which produces American-made furniture with a contemporary cottage feel, is also unveiling a new line of sea-inspired fabrics. Vivid greens, soft blues, and prints of ocean critters all help define their winter collection.

HURLBUTT DESIGNS has a new offering at their Kennebunk location. Works by artist Eric Graffam are now being sold exclusively by the home furnishings and interior design company. Born and raised in southern Maine, Graffam uses found objects to create whimsical nautical sculptures. His motto, “saving the planet, one sculpture at a time” will doubtless appeal to the eco-minded design crowd and homeowners looking to bring a little of the outside in.
