Frank H. Goodyear III and Anne Collins Goodyear were recently named co-directors of the BOWDOIN COLLEGE MUSEUM OF ART. Both previously worked at the National Portrait Gallery at the Smithsonian Institution, Frank as the curator of photographs and Anne as the associate curator of prints and drawings. The couple will oversee over 20,000 works while serving as co-directors of the museum. They will begin work in June.

Just a block north from L.L. Bean¹s flagship store is THOS. MOSER’s Freeport showroom. Based out of a 19th century home, in addition to showcasing fine hand crafted wood furniture, Thos. Moser is also a leading art venue in Maine with rotating art shows. On display until April 28 is a collection of works by Laurie Hadlock and Carrie Lonsdale. Also included in the exhibition are new paintings by ongoing group artists including Linda Bail, Michelle Hero Clarke, Tom Curry, Michele Dangelo, Sheila Geoffrion, Bruce Kaminski, and Lynn Travis, and the introduction of artist, Brian Emerson.
