Edith Caldwell moves her San Francisco gallery to Rockport
Edie Caldwell first opened Edith Caldwell Gallery in San Francisco in 1986. Focusing on contemporary realism and representational artwork, the gallery specializes in paintings and drawings by artists throughout the United States. Having represented Alan Magee for many years, Caldwell frequently visited Maine and soon fell in love with the state. In May 2009, she decided to move to Rockport, and in October she opened her gallery at 67 Pascal Avenue. In addition to fine art, the gallery features vintage finds and home decor accessories. An opening reception took place at CMCA celebrating the occasion and featured music and hors d’oeuvres.
