A Kennebunkport gala benefits two local nonprofits

On August 28, local nonprofits and business owners joined together to host The Sunset Gala on Seagrass Lane at Kennebunk Beach. Seagrass Lane, LLC, is a team-up between Seaport Development Group’s Stephen and Michael Spenlinhauer, who recently purchased a group of 1940s-era cottages on Seagrass Lane, in partnership with Atlantic Holding’s Tim Harrington. Harrington and Juan Urtubey previously hosted the Cabot Cove Cottages event a few years ago, as well as last summer’s Cottages at Hidden Pond tours and gala, which raised money for local nonprofits. The gala gave the local community a sneak peek of the property for the night. All proceeds benefitted the Child Abuse Prevention Council in Kennebunkport and River Tree Arts, a community arts organization.
