Originally established in 1939 as the Johnson Paint Company on Newbury Street in Boston, our company today is known as Johnson Paint, a Ring’s End Brand, after being acquired in 2023 by Ring’s End, Inc., a Darien, Connecticut-based lumber and building materials retailer. The acquisition merged two third-generation family-owned and operated businesses with a combined history spanning over two centuries.
