CAPOZZA TILE AND FLOOR COVERING CENTER

CAPOZZA TILE AND FLOOR COVERING CENTER in Portland has acquired DMT Industrial Floors in Lewiston, a 31-year-old company that specializes in decorative concrete finishes and epoxy flooring. Renamed Capozza Concrete Services, the business joins the Residential, Commercial, and Old Port Specialty Tile Co. divisions under the Capozza corporate umbrella.

PORTLAND ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE will open a reclaimed wood warehouse on Westfield Street in Portland this month. The store will offer salvaged flooring, paneling, beams, and other materials suitable for use in historic renovations, new construction, and furniture making.

MATTHEW AHLBERG has joined Barrett Made in Portland as director of design services. He was previously a project manager at Portland’s Scott Simons Architects.

Also this month, LIGHTING CONCEPTS will open a showroom within EcoHome on Forest Avenue in Portland. The company sells lighting, controls, and automated shading; its flagship store remains in Lewiston.
