GO LOGIC has recently hired five new designers: Edith Gawler (not pictured), Scott Harrison, Michelle Bezik, Alex Pagan, and Michael Bailey. With architecture degrees from Syracuse University, Carnegie Mellon University, Temple University, and the University of Puerto Rico, respectively, this group brings an infusion of fresh talent and energy to the rapidly growing coastal Maine company.

URBAN DWELLINGS has opened a new retail space on Congress Street in Portland. Owner TRACY A. DAVIS has been operating the company since 2005, and her new store will offer design services for residences, boutique hotels, and restaurants. Other locations include New York and Washington, D.C.

Designer AMY DUTTON, who has 25 years in the industry, has recently opened a new shop in Kittery Foreside district called AMY DUTTON HOME. The shop is set up like a home, with an antique entry and garden, living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, and a bathroom. Dutton offers architectural, interior design, and landscape design consultation and services through her full-service firm. The shop, which was originally a gallery in which to showcase her style, now carries a unique and original line of artisan products for the home.
