The AMERICAN ART AWARDS board has chosen the PORTLAND MUSEUM OF ART as the best gallery or museum in Maine. In an official statement, the board noted the museum’s dedication to the community and its extensive collection as well as its Your Museum, Reimagined project, which reinvented the way audiences experience exhibitions.
GALLERY AT BALD HEAD CLIFF has opened at the CLIFF HOUSE in Cape Neddick. The new gallery features a neutral color palette that highlights rotating contemporary works. The latest exhibition presents paintings from Eric Hopkins and is on view July 1 through August 2.
SMARTHOME SOLUTIONS in Kennebunk has hired Morgan Moran as its new business manager. Moran previously worked as the director of sales and events at the Beachmere Inn in Ogunquit.
Kaitlyn Hall and Chrysa Baker have joined the team at LANDING REAL ESTATE in Portland as sales agent and associate broker, respectively. Hall brings more than nine years of sales and customer service experience, and Baker has a degree in business management and previously owned her own business.

ATLANTIC BREWING COMPANY is scheduled to open a new brewery, tasting room, and restaurant in Bar Harbor this summer. Designed by Elliott and Elliott Architecture and owned and developed by Doug Maffucci and Kim Swan of Fifty Two Cottage Street, the new building features a window through which clients can watch brewery operations and also incorporates a sedum covered green roof to reduce runoff and heat loss.
