“She always introduces herself as Squeegie. It originates from the cat adventure stories that I make up about our four cats and some cats she knows in town. One is named Squeegie and it’s a lead character. She has adopted Squeegie’s persona and insists on calling me Keesie, another cat. I love her creativity, her ideas, and her spirit. She was a major catalyst in me making this installation. Because of the fun we have on our projects, I wanted to scale up the process, collaborate with others, and have some fun. Romy helped on every step.”
