Throughout the house, Scheerer used wallpaper to brighten and modernize spaces while still retaining the
classical appeal of the home. Before, some of the bedrooms had plaster walls, but “there aren’t many left in the
house now,” he says. The guest room has an intentionally old-fashioned vibe, thanks to the wallpaper by Carleton
V and the chenille bedspreads by Chelsea Textiles
