It was important to the owners that the pool, the pool house, and the main house all look like
they are in conversation. William Ross used similar architectural elements, such as the columns,
gabled rooflines, and shingles, to tie them together. The moulding is also consistent between both
structures, and the windows all have the same distinctive divisions. In order to make everything fit on
the land, Spang Builders had to change the grade of the yard, bringing the area around the pool up
and leveling it out.
