A boardwalk leading from the parking area to the house traces the
hike homeowners Stephen Peck and Jonathan Messer took through a
boulder field to arrive at the lakeside site where they eventually built
their home. Hancock-based Acorn Builders of Maine constructed the
zigzagging path.
