Getting to Know the Land

A view from the kitchen, over the dining room table, past a maple built-in cabinet to the living room space. Freshwater Stone of Orland is responsible for all the stonework inside and outside the house, including this fireplace with a continued raised hearth and an intentionally shallow firebox to throw heat back into the room. The granite used for the fireplace is called Morning Mist, and it was also used for the kitchen countertops.
