In the view-filled master bedroom, Michon worked hard to achieve just the right blend of warmth and sophistication. The bed is an antique pine low-post remade into a king size by Leonard’s of Seekonk, Massachusetts. The fireplace surround is local granite and white oak beadboard. William Wegman’s Friends hangs over the mantel, a gift to Van from Michon. “I love the combination of pinks, greens, and reds with a heavy dose of black,” says Michon.
