Sarah Steinberg of Steinberg Custom Designs designed a U-shaped kitchen with transparent cabinetry above the peninsula to preserve the views between rooms. The modern lines of the countertop are warmed by the use of aged maple with black veining. The color and movement of the Bross Blue granite that accompanies the maple gives the appearance of flowing water, an appropriate touch for this lakeside home.
