All the steel in the kitchen was welded and installed by Ian, who also designed and welded the dining table after finding a 3/4-inchthick piece of tempered table glass on Craigslist. The pantry behind the sliding panel to the left holds all the dry goods, and the dishwashing nook beyond it on the left separates the mess of cooking from the mess of cleaning. Shelves and drawers are all open; as in a commercial kitchen, everything is within easy reach. Not a single cupboard was installed.
