To add depth and light to the living room, the team installed French doors, added ceiling beams, and extended the fireplace mantel across the room with a mirrored wall above it. The result is small space that feels bigger, lighter, and airier. Choosing the right fireplace was quite a feat as well. “We bought the house in October and spent our first two weeks here over Thanksgiving and came back in January.
